Accessible Yoga
We understand that financial barriers should never hinder anyone from experiencing the healing benefits of yoga. That's why we offer a work/study program for our students, allowing them to exchange their time and energy for yoga by helping to care for our yoga space during the week. This program provides an opportunity for individuals to immerse themselves in the practice, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Karma Yoga Series
As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, we offer free classes through our Karma Yoga series. These classes are open to anyone who wants to practice with us, free of charge. It's our way of sharing the gift of yoga with those who may not have the means to access it otherwise.

Meet Our Studio Director
Daphne
Daphne, our esteemed Studio Director, brings a wealth of experience and passion to the world of yoga. Her journey began in 2000 when she discovered the transformative power of yoga while serving in the Army. Initially drawn to power yoga, Daphne's dedication to her practice led her to explore various styles, eventually becoming certified in Kundalini (classical) yoga in 2009 under the guidance of Swami Jaya Devi Bhagavati at Kashi Atlanta.

With a diverse background in fitness and wellness, Daphne's journey took her to Chicago, where she shared her expertise as a yoga, pilates, and belly dancing instructor at the Learning Annex. Alongside her commitment to yoga, Daphne pursued studies in Sustainability, earning a Masters degree in 2012, reflecting her holistic approach to health and well-being.

In 2012, Daphne discovered the transformative practice of Original Hot Yoga (Bikram) at Be Yoga in Andersonville, Chicago. Her dedication to the practice led her to compete in USA Yoga competitions starting in 2015, under the guidance of renowned mentors such as Glenn Brown and Mary Jarvis, both legends in the yoga community. Daphne's talent and dedication have earned her invitations to the National competitions five times, a testament to her skill and commitment to excellence.

Certified by the Yoga Alliance (200+hrs) in Classical Yoga, Warrior’s at Ease (200+hr), and Shapeshifting (200+hrs), as well as being Original Hot Yoga certified (200+hrs), Daphne's expertise and dedication to her practice are evident in her teaching and leadership. She is deeply committed to sharing the transformative power of yoga with others and creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all who walk through the doors of our studio.
